Bolt release fails to lock back on last round

I have a colt competition rifle CX something and when I put on the tactical link extended bolt release lever it never locks the bolt back after the last round. It's a handy little lever but I never know when i'm empty until it goes "click". I've used every mag, magpul makes and it's the same. Do they make a heavier bolt release spring?

Those things are more trouble than they're worth...ditch it.

I dumped the mag pul bad lever for the exact same reason.

handy how? not locking back dont seem too handy. -ditch it and train to do it the normal way

You might you use the Phase 5 Tactical release. It's integral unlike the BAD lever which just bolts one. I love mine.
