We will have a tactical match on Friday 11-29-13 @ Oil Capital.
All steel targets, including dropping
200rds
Lots of movement and reloads, but still 22 friendly
At least 1 Pro-Am stage

Open to stage suggestion

Divisions: Center Fire Pistol, Revolver, Rimfire Pistol and Rimfire Rifle; open amd ironsights.

This is the Friday after our November Steel Challenge match.

Oil Capital Members $10.00, non-members $15.00, and second gun $5.00.
If you are in good shape, we will greatly appreciate any help tearing down after the match (please don't puttargets on the ground; we take them apart as we load them on to the trailer- much easier than picking them off the ground.) But no pressure if you want to leave or can't help.

Remember we have plaques for 1st place winners.

Here are some helpful links for information:

Hope to see you at the range.

Here are the stages I was thinking about.
Notice round count is a little high at 185.
We could reduce the round count to 150 by running only 1 string of circle, and 2 of Smokin' Vice Pres.
Let me know what you guys think.
Still open to stage suggestions.
See att'd

Stage designs look great! I can't wait to run the circle! See ya then, Renato!

Weather is looking good for Friday, forecasted at 50 and sunny.
Thinking of changing a bit the XMas tree stage by having 4 strings instead of 4. 2 strong hand, 2 weak hand, best of each scores count.
Let me know what you think.

How to see you at the range.

I'll modify the x-mas tree to be 4 strings; 2 week hand only, 2 strong hand only, best score of each count.

Unless otherwise noted, Rimfires will start 45deg down (we'll have a start cone.)
Center fires will start holstered, hands down.
Xmas tree will start with gun on barrell placed in front of start box.
I will have an updated stages file posted tomorrow morning.

Don will not be shooting with us, so I woul appreciate your help tearing down.

Hope to see you Friday.

I'll be there sounds like fun, Micah Rowe said something about getting a hair cut & color as wellI as picking up a 5.11 polo shirt on the way up. Hopefully we will get there in ample time.

Here is the latest version of the stages.
Suggestions are still welcome.
See att'd.

Round count is 180
Signing starts at 9:30
Shooting starts at 10:00

Hope to see you Friday

Corey Couch is gonna run to the range the last 18 miles and shoot through...he's walking home!!

(Clint, glad you found ammo and were able to make it.)

Thanks to all that show. We had a great time with 29 guns.
Troy's dropping targets once again were a lot of fun (you should check out his gunsmithing skills as well.)
The OKC guys schooled us with some awesome shooting. Thank you guys for making the trip to Coweta.
Great to have a couple of OKC LEOs as well. Hope you guys make it back.

Lamar took RFPI, Corey had the lowest score on PI (and all pistols,) and Geoff took 1st with RFRO.

Our next match is our regularly scheduled Steel Challenge match on Sunday Dec 22. Keep an eye for email notices.

Thanks to all for helping with with the tear down. It was very appreciated.

Scores have been posted.

Hope to see you at the range.
