bipods

think I may get a bipod for my ar, what do you suggest? don't want to have to take out a loan.
what attachment method? best place to buy?

I think UTG makes excellent low cost bipods. Looking at one for my 20" AR and my 10/22. I've seen used but great condition Harris bipods for sake as well.
 
If you don't mind a knock off go to Amazon and search greenblob. It's an atlas clone. I did not know it when I bought mine it works very well. I'm going to try different attachments for the feet.
 
I use a Harris S-BRM 3-6" bipod with an ADM QD sling swivel mount on my DMR. My .22lr rifle has some cheapo 3-6" bipod on it, which is fine for what it is used for.
 
for all the ar gurus. is there a place (with pictures) that I can keep up with & find what kind of fore arms
are put on ars . how to decide what length you need. how to decide what kind of attachment system it is?
moe, m lock or what?

thanks, although building lowers, I know very little about options.
planning on my next build being for shooting off a rest in my back yard.
I do try to post my questions here 1st to keep the discussions going.
