Best shotgun for home defense?

My "shoot to kill" means aiming and pulling the trigger at a part of body that will result in fatality if ammunition hits point of aim. If the enemy happens to be stopped and hasn't been killed, then obviously you don't finish him off. But my shots will have lethal intent when the weapon is fired.

Man, i do ALL those things with my Colt Government Model, 45, open on my property and concealed everywhere else. i wont be pointin a barrel at my nuts. still got plans for them.

ive also been known to carry my pistol grip SBS, 14 in bbl 12 ga.

where im at if you get to the door ive had a chance to put a bead on you already.

i live in the woods. i was speaking of in my house but i do take it into the woods with me. as in the thread, home defense.

i use it to shoot those little critters instead of my COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL 45. (no critters really ,well copperheads)

the SBS is only allowed to fire buckshot and slugs.
