Best holster for STI Edge

Depends on what you are using it for, but the Bladetech DOH is probably the best all around holster.

I'll be using it for limited div. I use bladetech for production and single stack and like them alot, but I've never tried the race holsters like DAA or CR speed.

If you're interested in the race holsters, I've seen alot of guys running the race masters form DAA

I run a BladeTech DOH as well. I'd line to try that new retention holster they have though. I have been seeing a lot of them on the range.

I'm getting an edge that comes with a Safariland 012 holster. I'll get you some feedback after I get it. I won't have it until the weekend.

here is a pic of it:

Yeah, I was thinking they were the ALS but I just saw the Bladetechs

I have used safariland 013 for a number of years now and really like the retention of it. I am planning on getting the new 014 in red soon.

A lot of guys are going to the DAA Racemaster...I like the CR Speed, so the muzzle doesnt hang down exposed.

I used to have a DOH from Ready Tactical that was quite nice if you want a fill coverage setup.

I'm using a Blade-Tech, and I like it, but I don't use the DOH attachment. I was thinking about moving to a race holster, just to try one, but having a full-coverage holster for USPSA is consistent with the necessity of a full-coverage 3-Gun holster. Consistent is good. And I doubt my holster will really ever be holding me back.

I switched to blade tech speed d/os for my revolvers and have been really happy. There are a number of big time shooters that have gone back to full covered holsters because of the insecurity of some of the full race holsters.

I know what you mean Chris, my holster got so insecure we had to do an intervention, and some "hospitalization" I am glad to say the Thorozine is working wonders and it isn't nearly as insecure as it used to be. :sarcastichand:

Any holster that keeps the gun from falling on the ground inadvertently is good, if it keeps it from falling on the ground durring vigorous movement it is even better. there is no "best"

I use a blade tech sting ray for SS. non doh. my draw to shot with a single stack is .77...with my limited gun and cr speed im .68...over the course of a match its so close that means jack...however the sting ray is what i use for 3gun for security, same draw as shooting uspsa makes it even better for consistency as well.

Kurt just busted my balls....I love it

I was meaning a holster that was not secure. Or unsecure if my phone thought it was really a word.
