Hi everyone!
I just purchased a Bersa Model 86 and I'm looking to acquire a spare magazine or 2.. I did not realize what an impossible task this would be. If anyone either has one they're willing to part with or knows where I could find one please let me know.
Thanks ladies and gents

Thanks, that widens my search a bit but I can't seem to find either anywhere on the web. I'm thinking my best bet is when the gun show rolls into town.

Megan I found a thread that said the the 13 round Bersa Thunder mags can be gently altered to work. The mag release catch slot on the mag can be cut/filed to work with the older Bersa. That may help finding a useable mag easier. Good Luck.

Thanks so much David! At least those are still in production, shouldn't be too impossible to find

If you don't have the skills or know someone who does, check with Dale at East Coast Guns in Summerville. He and his daughter are very good.

I'll definitely check them out. Are they fair with cost? I don't think adding a catch to a magazine will be a pricey endeavor. I was going to go to James at trader world but he wasn't in yesterday and the other guys at the shop we saying that he may refuse the job due to liability

Pricey as hell but thanks for letting me know! Ill think about it, not sure if I'm willing to shell out that much for a magazine :/

They are very fair. The liability issue they will have to address. So many things about firearms is 'pays your money and takes your chances'. Every time we drop the hammer there are a multitude of things that can go wrong. I always, and Dale has told me too, shoot couple of hundred rounds through and verify reliability after any work is done on your firearm.
They are good people and will treat you right. They may also try to sell you another gun that has extra mags in the box.

Thanks again Dave! Once I'm able to find one of these 15 round mags ill definitely give Dale a call. Won't have the cash for another purchase for a couple months but I'm extremely excited about this one!
