Hey guys, I traded out a 1991 and a Glock 22 for a Benelli SBE I and a nice amount of cash about 7 years ago. The Benelli has seen one duck season and two dove seasons. I love the way it shoots and wanted to know if it was possible to modify it for 3gun or other gun comps when I get to that stage?

What say you guys?

sure......It's a little heavier than an M1, but that big ejection port makes port loads a breeze.
 
Awesome. I am gonna start getting mag holsters and stuff for my pistol and then start getting my shotgun started.

Austin aka Spiff runs an SBE1 too. Get a tube from Tony and have Mike at Accurate Iron weld up your lifter if needed and your set.

I knew he did at 1 point but I thought he updated, maybe not......he may still be running the SBE

I run nothing but Nordic components plus 8 tubes with XXL caps that holds 12. More ammo is always a good thing.

I'm definitely in the minority though Most guys run a tube that holds 9-10.
 
I just got my SBE I back from RNT, it's pretty pimp. Trapr thought enough of it that he bought one himself. The loading port is huge!

But yeah, I'm shooting an FMD M1 right now.
