Benelli M4 mods

Hello,
I have been using my M4S90 for some time now. I only see a few others using them as well. I have a full length USA made mag tube installed and I can ghost load. What I am wanting to know is if the receiver can be milled like Benny Hill does on the M1 and M2 to open up the loading port?

Does it help with the reloading as well or just make it look cool?

It's not for the looks. It makes the loading port bigger for faster reloads.

I have seen it done on the M1. Is this something Benny has the corner on or do other gunsmiths tinker with this mod as well? My reloads are one of my big slow spots.

Accurate Iron of Jones Oklahoma does possibly the best Benelli mod work out there.
I'd guess there are very few modded Benellis around here that hasn't been through his shop.

I'm sure if you showed him the cash he would. Not sure about the hello kitty, but the pink shouldn't be a problem I wouldn't think.
