Benelli 3 Gun Video = Awesome!

Not so fast ther Wormy, I just spent the last couple fo days with FNs and I think I got them figured out! I have done some real cool stuff to them like 3 pound trigger pull. Retimed the lifter, figured out the bevel on the barrel and how to do a real port job, not like the hack work I have seen from some shops. This thing loads as fast as a Benelli once done and now we just have to see if it will last without jamming or breaking! You can sure run a "Red Neck" sticker cause all the R&D was all done with beer and in my shop!

I run the red neck tactical sticker myself. The best gun smithing beer can buy

Also that video is clearly doctored. That mustache is obviously super imposed on someone else and played at 2x speed

I need some stickers as I've still got a little room left on the CZ and I think you know the dude that did a lot of playing with the shotgun :great: maybe I can use the letters to count with since my hands are full and I have to wear shoes LOL I'll trade stickers for a nice maduro cigar. Later,

Kirk

I appreciate that Mr. Miller. I had a chance to get the FN at a 'decent' price and got it. When a decent deal on a Benelli comes up, I will think very hard on switching. I've shot Jesse's Benelli(s) and really liked them. The #1 thing I'm not crazy about on the FN is the loading. I would like to discuss this further with you if you have time and maybe you will be able to help. I've also had a Benelli Nova and absolutely loved how incredibly easy it was to load. I don't think the FN will ever be as easy loading as the Nova, but surely it can be better than it is now. I really need to get the lifter welded up and I am going to take your advice on the 'slit' in the lifter as stated earlier. I have heard that adding that little extra weight when welding it 'up' causes malfs and the 'slit' or possibly a stronger spring (I may have made that up but it seems like I heard it somewhere, maybe on benos) will help the issue. Anyways I will PM you in a week or two when things slow down a bit. Working fast and furious to get the wheat in the ground.

Incredible video! Really got my blood pumping :D

Kurt, awhile back, you were testing a Nordic upper in .22 mag. Anything become of this?

(sorry about the hijack)

Well Jeremy the big thing you are missing out on is we have a benelli breakfast club that meets in the library on saturdays and we all bond over the fact we have M2 and M1.. we often wear matching shirts to these meetings...

I knew it...you bastards have been snubbing me just because of the SBE.

Dennis, I am quite happy wiht the Nordic .22 mag upper. I will hold about a minute out to 175 or so, It detests Winchester Dyna-points as much as it likes CCI and Hornady. It is a very light weight package and hold 13 rounds. The magazine is aluminum. It uses the spring in your rifle and comes with a special buffer and it saeems to be fairly reliable with an occational last round stove pipe...which I haven't gotten around to addressing.

I like it! .22 mag is one of my favorite rounds. :D
If they are on the market, I might have to look at picking one up, if I can get a P-dog hunt going.
