anybody use this comp?i allmost ordered one but darn $150+shipping thats alot of cash to drop.wanted to ask the forum if it is worth that much cash? i'd like to reduce recoil for follow up shots, but i don't want a big comp/to bulky, added wieght, etc so the battle comp 1.0 looks like the best muzzle devise"on paper" but does it realy work?

while it is expensive , the BC is the best money i have spent on my AR . it makes for extremely fast follow up shots . i went with the spikes dynacomp on my 300 blk its almost as good for $90

I tend to agree with him and focus on killing flash and not worry about compensating as I find control of an AR is pretty darn easy without a comp.
i havn't made my mind up completely but i'm leaning toward just leaving the A2 flas hider on and spending that $150 on a good vest that will carry AR-15 mags, and my kbar (some how) i don't know much about tactical vests and mouting things on them

The most effective muzzle brakes are the Bennie Cooley or the Miculek. They do make a difference and they are the best designs for pure muzzle blast management, however they do not act as a flash hider. Shooting a rifle equipped with a Cooley or Miculek is very noticeable vs. a rifle equipped with another device. The battlecomp is a mix of a flash hider/muzzle brake.

i have a Miculek comp on anouther AR and all that you said true.

A suppressor is a great muzzle brake and flash hider but adds considerable cost. The best suppressors are made by Tactical Suppressed Weapons (TSW) in Rougemont NC. All Titanium and Stainless steel construction and the absolute best at noise reduction. A considerable amount of them are in use at Ft. Bragg and other military teams. At the Gastonia Sniper Conference last year, TSW and SureFIre went head to head and the TSW came out on top every time. SureFire makes a good product and does have a nice product line.
