This fool just had 70 negative reviews. And that's not even the worse thing that may happen. Imagine people picking. Such a silly person to call the ccw community losers and douchbags, and post it. Their could be a real bad ending to this.

*sigh* I really don't want blood to shoot out of the owners eyes. That would be messy.
My thoughts were because it's not a legal sign that I'd like to go in, check it out, maybe have a soda or a bite to eat, and then go home and post a review and mention that we cc'd in there and ask if they had even noticed. Or, ya know, possibly posting it from my iphone in the parking lot.
Upon reading a few more reviews I noted that at least one other person has already done that, and that the place is pretty much forgettable otherwise. I decided it's not worth my time or money to go up there since I have no interest in run of the mill food or supporting the jerk. Nor am I interested in educating the local constabulary on what proper signage is and why it wasn't against the law for me to be inside with my concealed weapon should they be reading the reviews as they arrive and decide to call the police. That and I'm pretty sure my butt isn't prepared for a 450 mile round trip on the motorcycle lol

1. Guy could've been a little smarter about posting his business.
2. The place sucks anyways before all of this so you're not missing much by avoiding it now. At least it sucked all 4 years of my college career which was recent.
3. Taking to Yelp to make political statements is quite possibly to stupidest thing I've seen/head of all year.
4. Who gives a f*** if it's properly posted sign or not. Those who carry into places that are not properly posted and end up making a f****** scene over it are just fueling the fire and being detrimental to the rest of us who have and use a little common sense. If he doesn't want you carrying there, then don't, whether it's "properly posted" or not. Grow up and show a little respect for the guy making decisions for his business. He's got just as much right to deny you concealed carry in his business as you do to be there. Same goes for the open carry people who make a scene about it (in states where it's legal).

Yes, he could have.

So I hear.

The owner has since paid yelp to remove negative comments. I'm not interested in duking it out through social media however the devils advocate in me says he's voluntarily paying an idiot tax, why not give him something to delete...

He will get no respect from me. I will tolerate a lot of shenanigans but when someone goes this far out of their way to be rude and disrespectful it's not always easy to ignore it and click away. Granted, my idea wasn't the most mature, but the thought of being able to do something benign that would rankle an anti-gun person gave me a warm fuzzy feeling for a few minutes, much like the idea of making a comment that will cost him a few cents to remove does. As a second amendment supporters and shooting hobbyists we often have to rise above, but sometimes I just really want to get down to their level. I can't/won't, but maturity is a pretty thin salve and I'm tired of being tarred and feathered.
