These look like awesome AR pistols. I really like the video. Wish I had the $1300 to visit them today.
From Allen Arms - Greenville, SC:
Sig Sauer P516G2 with 10" barrels.
They are piston operated pistols, and they have the PSB (Pistol Stabilization Brace) installed so they can be sold out the door as a pistol. They are NOT a SBR (Short Barrel Rifle). This means no $200.00 stamp tax or 8 month wait on a Form 4.

It looks cool but other than playing around its not very practical. Wait, in about 6 months it will be in the next action movie staring an "I hate guns" liberal :D

I agree that it functions more as a long gun than as a pistol, but according to ATF, it is classified as a pistol and not subject to NFA rules.
Anyway, it's too expensive for me...

How is a compact carbine not practical? You have a small, semi-automatic weapon that fires 5.56 intermediate cartridge rounds. That's more practical inside of a home or other building than a Mosin Nagant 91.

but when you put it to your shoulder its an illegal SBR right?

Not according to the only people that enforce and prosecute the 1934 National Firearms Act. The BATF(e) has said (many times) that it is legal. The intent of the device is an arm brace for single-handed firing. If you misuse the device it doesn't change the device's purpose.

I've been waiting for someone to come out with something like this. I just ordered a SIG SAUER SB15 Pistol Stabilizing Brace off eBay for $133.90 with free shipping. It should be in Friday or Saturday. I'll let you know how well it works.

I thought Sig said the genesis of the device was for amputees. If you have one arm then you don't have a support hand and need some help. I think the idea is a very niche concept but it definitely has usefulness, albeit not by 90% of the population.

might be kind of hard to sinch it up with one arm. i guess you could point it at your feet to put it on. could end up with one arm and one foot.
