Good choice, that was the rifle I was going to order. I'm not very patient though, So I just bought their lower, and a DPMS upper. I tell you what, for the price you can't beat it! it comes with a MAGPUL MOE Handgaurd, MBUS rear sight, and a Yankee Hill gas block front sight. that right there is worth about $150 by its self.

how much cash you looking to drop? once we figure out how much you want to spend we'll get you the most bang for your buck.you can spend $20 all the way to $1200 for optics

You might look for what they call CMR Close-Medium-Range, usually vari 1-4x. Here's one cheap. I'm sure there are better.

Hey snow. I have 2 DPMS's. Sportical and A-15. Super accurate!
Only one failure in 3 years was due to using steel cased Wolf ammo. One of them broke the extraction rim off when the laquer coating melted in the chamber. This caused the empty case to freeze in so hard I HAD TO DRIVE IT OUT WITH A CLEANING ROD AND MALLET.
Nothing wrong with DPMS, Just use good old American brass cased ammo when you get an AR.

I also reside in the Laurens "no comi zone"
