Can any of the guru's point me in the right direction for a medium contour barrel 18"-20" in the $150-$200 range? a 1-9 twist CM would be fine. Later,

I can find heavy contour barrels all day long but that is not what I am looking for I'm after a medium contour. Later,

Well, I have no recommendations for you in that price range then. Good barrels meeting those specs under $200 are rare. If you want to bump the range to $300 there are a ton, but you probably knew that aready. WOA can get you one for about $265 and BCM has them for $299. Compass Lake Engineering also makes a great barrel for around $300. What's the issue with the heavy contour? There's not a bunch of weight difference and you can get it for around $160 if you look hard enough, though they are on back order nearly everywhere. Anyways, good luck finding the barrel.

Those Nordic barrels can't be beat for the money. $165 (w/ the benos coupon) for a lightweight, midlength, stainless, Wilde chamber, 1-8 twist. That's a lot of bang for your buck.

If you must get a 20" call White Oak and get a CMP barrel .750" the whole way.

If your interested in a Nordic barrel let me know. They might hive us a deal on one for you if we buy and ship it with the group buy uppers.

I know this is a little late for this post...but how good did your 16" nordic shoot
did you get a group size?
how did the mid gas work with the lmos bcg?

I was shooting it indoors at 25 yards w/ a red dot sight - not exactly great for grouping - all I was worried was getting center mass hits - and it was nailing them. I had no issues with the LMOS and Mid Length gas system - I shot Monarch Steel Cased Ammo out of it also

A 16" barrel would be right at 4" too short for what I'm after! I'll check out the site and what they have to offer. Later,

Kirk
