I made the mistake of letting my wife shoot my Stag 3G at the Mill Creek match last weekend. Now she has decided that her milspec trigger isn't good enough. I am looking for some opinions of what would be the best way to go. Do I go with the same trigger as my 3G or is there something better out there?

A buddy of mine has a JP in his rifle. She tried it today, but said mine is better. I'll look into the CMC and the AR Gold.

I have a cmc in hunters tiger rifle, you can try that. POF is making a drop in one piece now too.

I'm also in the market to replace my trigger. Right now I'm running a Geissele SSA-E. I like the way it feels but I don't like the way it's reset is. It's like it pushes your finger forward just a little after the reset click. Brownell's has said they'll take it back and swap me for whatever I want, and I've been thinking about the S3G. But now I'm seeing y'all talk about the AR gold... Is it that much better, can someone describe the "feel" to me? The videos of it make it look pretty sick! But looking and touching are two completely different deals!

AR gold is as close as you're going to get to a worked over 1911 trigger. It's friggin super light. I would suggest trying one out before you purchase. It's definitely not for newbs.

The geissele SD3G takes some getting use to but I like mine. There is zero increase In the pull weight as you press it, very short travel. Prob not the best for super long range shots, but it is a go fast trigger, sometimes to fast.

I don't think I want the flat trigger face of the SD3G, I like curves! Are you running it in your AR now? And are you going to be at the MVSA 3 gun next month? If so, I'm gonna cop a feel!
