I like the old GI's. Makes me feel old school. They are usually around 8 bucks at gun shows.

Botach tactical has a 20% coupon for pmags. http://www.botachtactical.com/

In the checkout, enter Magpul as your coupon code and hit update. It basically reduces the price down to about $13-14 a pmag for the windowed ones. Ordered 5 the other day.

I am also a fan of the Steel USGI mags, I had a few of the Pmags, but I traded for the steel ones, they just feel more sturdy to me

I am also a fan of the metal mag over the plastic mag. I do own some plastic mags but I am having trouble getting used to them. To many years with the steel I guess. I thing the steel drops free better than the plastic. JMHO

Don't forget those, I will have them in March.

I'm going to have to do some research on these, I was considering the PMAG extensions but this looks like a good option also.

Feed lips won't deform on the PMAG when dropped, but it will just split down the middle and spew rounds everywhere.

I use both and still haven't decided which are "best".

Ok so there are pros and cons to both mags, preference seems key!!! So I'll buy a couple if each and decide for myself!!!! Lol :)
