AR bull Barrel

I am wondering what the advantages of a bull barrel on an AR.
I have a dpms low pro with a 16 inch bull barrel. What are some pros and cons of this

It will stand longer bouts of continuous fire without losing consistency. For most peoples purposes they won't put their rifles through that kind of torture. Another advantage is a heavier front end for a better balance/stability on a varmint rig. Lets see some pics of that bad boy!

Advantages are what Taymoor said. Dyne cons are weight.
