AR-15 Uppers at a value?

Hey there folks, was wondering where was the best place to start looking at uppers, I have looked at midway and palameto. Are these the best places to get one sub 500 bucks? I would like to get a flat top with flat gas block. I don't need it to be terribly fancy, but don't want it to be crap either. Any suggestions?

On my last budget build for a truck rifle I bought a palmetto upper it ran great and was pretty accurate for a m4 barrel. Keep checking the website and you can get a hell of a deal when on sale.

I have a $350 palmetto upper that works fine.
