For Christmas I got the rest of the parts needed to put my new AR together, and my son and I built the lower last week. When I went to do the upper, I realized I needed a barrel nut wrench and an upper vice block to do it without tearing anything up (I've never put together an upper receiver before, just a couple of lowers). Long story short, my vice block and barrel nut wrench are sitting at the UPS facility in Tulsa, but UPS is closed both today and tomorrow so I'll have to wait until Friday to finish the build. That is, unless there is someone in the Tulsa area (I'm in Jenks) who has a barrel nut wrench and a vice block that they wouldn't mind loaning me for a few hours this afternoon so I can get it all put together. I know a couple of days isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of life, but I really would like to get it put together. Then if the weather is good on Friday I could be out shooting it, rather than putting it together. Anybody around here have both or either I could borrow for a bit? Thanks.

Having parts lying around as unfinished ARs will drive you nuts. I finished out three guns last night that I have had lying around for over a year.

Yeah, Jesse, I've had the handguard laying around in my office since April. One of the things I got for Christmas was that OpMod red/green dot from Optics Planet that you posted about a few months ago. I really want to get that thing on this gun and start shooting it!
