Appreciation thread

I'm an excellent taper, I even tape my own targets after I shoot :D

Chambers, I enjoyed taping your targets at Ponca, and studying you as you studied how you were planning your stage run. Some I shot differently than I would have on my own after watching you, and did OK for me. Some I know now I shouldn't have shot trying to follow your lead at my skill-less level.

This is a freaking love-fest.

There is no way to list everyone because there are too many but after thinking it over I would have to narrow it down to Jesse Tischauser. He started this whole thing for me. He "sniped" me from that other forum. Obviously, he saw my raw talent and decided to bring me to the dark side.

Jesse may be one of those personalities that rub some the wrong way but I don't know a single person who has done more for the sport of action shooting and 3-gun than JT. Sure there are a lot of others, but this is about who WE appreciate the most.

I loved him from the first time I saw him shoot :D

Yeah I can see that. They have the same hair, but that singer guy doesn't have the cool eurotrash glasses, but they do look a lot alike!

Kirk Smith- for letting me reload at his house, and being a good friend if it wasn't for him I could not afford to shoot. Oh yea, and for talking me into buying a G24

J.T.- helping me practice and answering all my stupid questions!!

Matt- being a good friend and hanging out and practice shooting with me.

Tony Wall- giving me rides to all the matches, and pointers on shooting, and all the goodies at makereadyproshop.com.

Benjamin- for working hard at the Heartland matches and when I first started he was my go to guy when I had all the stupid questions.

Burk- just for being Burk

Taymoore- being a good friend, and for helping me with my confidence when shooting matches, and being so sexy.

And to all the people I shoot with that are so helpful and accepting me into the shooting sports!!!!

I appreciate all of you who have helped me along & made me feel welcome in the shooting community. Being a female, it can be a challenge to participate in a match with all males; but I do like a challenge. That is one of the reasons I enjoy this sport; to challenge myself to step outside my comfort zone in so many ways.

Burk, Kirk Smith, Nate Bliss, Rusty, David E., Will R, Wall, Feegee, Spencer Keepers, & Jesse; thanks for making me feel like "one of the guys" & giving me pointers, encouragement, friendship, & making me laugh. I appreciate the help, & cameraderie of everyone at all the matches.

I hope to improve with more practice & training. I shot one 3G match, which I flopped at, but I would REALLY like to continue & improve! It was fun & a real challenge!
I appreciate any & all pointers, guidance, & suggestions you have to offer. Maybe if I get big, fake boobies, I would get alot more help.....

Seriously, I appreciate all you guys!

I would like to thank Brandon's father for talking to me on that other site down in Cajun town.
He told me about this site that his son was getting going and it has turned out to be one of the best things for us.
Little did i know that my family that lives there has known and worked with his family for many years.
It really is a small world after all.

As to the trophy's, i had a great time kicking around ideas with feegee about the design. He did a wonderful job and we are glad to be involved
anyway we can. so my thank's to boomer shooter for asking us to be involved.

Feegee Matlock for taking the bull by the horns on the trophy's at the Okla Limited/Open State Championship.
Range Master Rowdy will be supplying the steel, and Feegee, took charge of the design, and getting them engraved.
Great job, and really appreciate it! BTW, you do have a trophy headed your way that you won the hard way. :D

The Match directors at the Ponca Range get big kudo's from me, for being willing to adapt to shooters requests on the fly, and being innovative in stage design.

Biggest of all kudo's is to all of the folks that attend our matches, and matches all over the midwest that are advertized on BoomerShooter. Supporting these ranges, only makes it better for everybody.

I look forward to our conitued support of boomer shooter.

Also my thanks to Heartland, David and bejamin for all the time they put in so i can go have some fun.

Jesse with no "I", i thank you for not DQing me at 3 gun... instead giving me sooting lessons on the fly. rotfl.

I have to take advantage of this thread and thank John Hensy for reseting stages for me and himself.
Also tearing down stages for me and himself.
I'm usually near heat exhaustion but if I can sit down long enough in the shade I always have just enought energy to shoot one more stage.
Would have had to go home early many a match if you had not taken up your paw-n-laws slack.
And thanks to the rest of you for allowing this sorry excuse. :keeporder:

Many of the regulars or old timers here.

BB of course for everything he does, JT for this site and supporting the community (sorry I didn't jump on board a few years ago), Burk, Wall, Don Ross, DennisS, AI, KM, and many more. Least we forget the sponsors!

Have been out these past few months so unsure of the negativity mentioned. It is the way of any site and I wouldn't worry about it to much as long as the admins are handling professionally and fairly.
