I was wondering if anybody has shoot tactical steel, and if so what is it like. Also what is the difference between shot time and par time.

Do you mean like Steel Challenge with a tactical .22? Any steel match is fun! Shot time probably neans from the buzzer until last shot. Par time is time allowed to complete a course of fire, or, the time allowed when practicing to perform a certain task, such as reloads, or draw, aim, and prep trigger, or any other task you wish to practice with a time constraint.

We shoot steel challenge with .22 conversion kits for our ARs here, ton's of fun.

Renato runs tactical steel matches up at Oil Capital.
They are a blast! It's just like Steel Challenge. As far as time-plus scoring. Each miss is worth +3 points.
Try one out. Look under local matches and check out some of his stage designs, they are awesome. I always go, great practice!
