Any experience with Kimber Compact CDP II?

Hey guys, I need some input!
A guy is offering me a trade. He'd be giving me a like new Kimber Compact CDP II - it's a 4" 45 acp.
It Co. Es with the factory case, 3 mags, and an unused Galco Phoenix seude lined leather holster.

I'd basically have $800 in it. What's this worth? Are they good?!?

I had one years ago. I would want to see darn good pictures of the feedramp.
If old school mags have been used, there is a possibility of ramp damage, as well as just plain wear to the feedramp.

I just got to the range to shoot this DW for the first time!

Ok, just shot the Dan Wesson. All I can say is WOW! You just ruined me Bender, there's no going back now.... Lol

I have several Kimbers but all are all steel guns guns with no aluminum. They all preform very well. I think Kimber makes great guns. I just would not but any aluminum 45.

Thanks, I decided to pass on it. I think your advise of not buying an aluminum 45 makes sense as I learn more about this platform

I have 3", 4", & 5", I have never had any jam problems with mine. I also have a 4&5" 38 Super, also no jams with them either.
