Another new B-S'er!

For now I've been shooting handguns and pistol caliber rifles at Sgt. Everett's. I've got a couple of long guns I would like to get some trigger time on once the weather cools off some. Someday I'd like to try some competition shooting but I am very far from being ready for that.

One of the best ways to get ready is to dive right in! I'm 99% sure that there will be somebody at matches willing to loan you gear (mag holders, guns, shotgun shell caddies!, etc) until you get set up yourself!

Welcome to the club!

Someday is now. The sooner you start the sooner you start getting better at all aspects of shooting and firearms safety and handling. Plus there ate a bunch if cool shooters at the matches. Come shoot the heartland match this month.

Yea, I know. I can just dive right in. However right now the only pistol I own is a CZ52 and feeding it is not cheap. I had to sell my .380 Walther to pay some bills. I just need to save up for a set of dies for that CZ (7.62 Tokarev) I've got 700-800 rounds of surplus ammo for it. Of course it's steel jacketed so I cannot shoot it in Heartland or Sgt. Everett's.

I'm hoping to buy a 9MM pistol as I have a 9MM carbine and have been busy loading 9MM hard cast. In fact I was in Heartland today and bought 200 primers and now I have something like 740 rounds of 9 loaded up.

Anyhoo.... Thanks for the warm welcome.
