Just got word that Danny Looper passed away last night. Sad day in Oklahoma Law Enforcement. Danny outfitted damn near every cop in Oklahoma with his damn fine duty belts. I still have my first Looper duty belt from 14 years ago. And it is still a great piece of gear. Everytime you see a Trooper, most of that gear came from Looper Leather.
He also spent nearly 30 years as a Reserve Police Officer in Warr Acres. Bart once told me that his dad rarely made a football game, because he was out patrolling the streets. That's 30 years worth of weekends....for no pay. Astonishing.
