Ok, another rookie 3 gun question. I just purchased a 2 rd velco shotshell holder from 3gunstuff.com that goes on the forend of my Benelli. These two shells are strictly for "oh ****" scenarios when I run the gun dry and that last target just wobbles.
My question..... can a gun be put into the rack with shells still in an onboard caddy (forend, buttstock, sidesaddle etc...) or do they have to come out after each stage? It wouldn't be a big deal to just yank two shells, but the velcro loops are tighter than tight and it's kind of a challenge to get two shells in them.
