i dont see an issue?...you have to be a forum sponsor to sell stuff?

I think the issue is more that this person's entire existence on this discussion forum is exclusively to market and sell products for a business enterprise they either are employed by or operate.

It would kind of be like showing up to a church only on Sundays, not talking to anyone, and setting up a table at the entrance and selling religious books that you purchased from a wholesaler online at a 20% markup.

No, there is nothing wrong with selling products in America. There is something annoying about the manner in which you do it, however.

Anyone on here can sell things...even point out specials from other businesses that might be of interest to others.

This particular individual is selling and marketing products from their business, but trying to deceive us in that he is saying hey check this out like he is an individual. Until he was busted. If he was a sponsor for his business, no problem.

His only concern is coming to this forum to market his business. Do that as a sponsor. Or be a part of this community.

I've been talking with QuickShot Range. I understand they are a shooting range and they want to become a sponsor
I'd like to see some range membership specials.
(I'd like to see ranges in all corners of the state offer membership deals to the members here.)
I expect they'll be on board soon.

We have also been talking with an Appleseed group as a new sponsor.
I especially like their programs working with youths and learning to shoot.

I apologize if anyone's feathers were ruffled.
If a commercial vendor wants to post competing products for sale they'll find a good group of customers here.
it's worthwhile to become a sponsor. You get a lot for you investment.

Pops!
;)

This is not Armslist, so we don't have the Flag Spam, Flag Overpriced, etc buttons, and we don't have the Individual/Dealer selection. Sounds like sponsors are
free to advertise, yet they rarely do it in such a salesy manner. It's usually like someone putting together a bulk order or offering members only discounts. Sponsors funds keep this forum breathing, and for that they get ad space and additional leeway. Lastly, the admins have the power to make the rules. And we have the right to our opinions and the right to walk away.

I think we just got off on the wrong foot with QS. Let 's see if he wants to join us.
