Ammo Pricing?

Hey guys, I browsed through some of the previous threads about this topic, but I feel that ammo prices have gone up dramatically recently. I may be wrong, but it's been awhile since I have purchased bulk ammo. So that leads me to my point. I'm going to get about a solid month's worth of shooting in October, and I'm looking to stock up on my 9mm and .223 ammo. What do you guys feel that a good price for 9mm is? I usually buy per 1000 or 1200. And if memory serves me correctly, it was somewhere in the low to mid $300's. And for .223, I feel that anything under, say, .30 cents per round is a good price. Any opinions on this guy? What is considered a fair price for you guys? Also, if anyone knows any site that is having some good prices right now on ammo, please share!! Thanks!

I have been paying about .32 to .35/round for brass 55gr 223 in boxes of 20
I shop them all and end up buying most from www.ammunitiontogo.com

For 9mm, I shop all of them that I've listed and use the best one of the day normally. I seem to pay anywhere from 199.00 to 215.00/1000 rounds and then depends on shipping. It isn't much savings over wally world, but you have it all at once and not 4 boxes at a time if you're lucky

Ammo to go has good pricing on shotgun slugs/buck too in small or large qty

Recently got on the email list at cabela's...they sent me a nice price of 6.49/20 two day special for PMC brass 223 with NO shipping on orders of 150.00 right before labor day so I loaded up....

Thanks for the info. Targetsportsusa.com was actually running some decent deals. So I went ahead and purchased some 9mm and .223. I was hoping for a bigger response however. Oh well. Thanks again!
