All I can say on this one is, WOW! I highly recommend this one, Clint Eastwood did a fantastic job of telling Chris Kyle's story. It is one of the few times that the theater emptied out quietly and orderly. A very powerful story, well directed, and a humbling experience. Bradley Cooper is the only actor that could portray Chris Kyle (IMHO). Watch this one in IMAX, it is well worth the price of admission.

Ditto that. Went last night. The combat scenes in IMAX were earth shattering. I felt like I should be wearing a helmet! And you are right... you could hear a pin drop as everyone exited the theatre... a first for me.

just to show my scatter brain, i was really excited to see this movie. i was thinking , this is great, the story of a present day American hero.

nobodys fault but mine imagine the let down when i had to be told this is the hero who was killed at a shooting range in America.

i just didnt connect the two. still havent seen it but i feel like it was ruined by my lack of knowledge.

The wife and I saw it Saturday night. Definitely an excellent movie. We both thought it was a great and really well done. My wife also didn't realize who it was about until the end.

Saw it last night.

WOW.

As OP mentioned, leaving a theater quietly and orderly was a real experience. Somber is a fitting word.

The movie is great. And I think Bradley Cooper did a great job portraying Chris Kyle.
