I was in the Boy Scouts for 3 years and never once even touched a gun. Hell most of the time we were inside. Sure wish I had the opportunity for something like this when I was 10 or 11.

American kids aren't soft. Their parents are. Fathers with earings, women wearing the pants. Purple dinasaurs being the babysitter on the idiot box. Demonizing guns as evil. Is it any wonder?

Given a chance American kids would be doing what these Russian kids are doing.
