I am going to steer you away from the Lone Wolf barrels and I used to be a distributor for them. They are probably the best value for the money, but I am not in the least bit impressed by the way in which JR does business. I have chosen to no longer represent their business or products.

Yea we talked about this the other day - they are pretty much out the picture but a true poll wouldn't be complete without them on there...

I wasn't sure if we had talked about this or not. I was just keeping my promise to JR to express my displeasure to everone I know. :-X

It takes A LOT for me to make a promise like that. You don't have any worries brother!

I love the KKM in my G35. I have a Lonewolf in my G34, but the chamber is too tight for my taste. A lot of the rounds that will chamber check in my stock barrel wont drop into the lonewolf chamber. I had a similar experience for a lonewolf .40 barrel. I had to borrow a G35 that had a lonewolf barrel for double tap this year. I had already checked all my match ammo in my KKM barrel and ended up have to throw lots of it out after re-checking it all in the lonewolf barrel.

I've heard from some people that you can ask them to ream the chamber out for you, but I've also heard from others that it's pretty hard to get them to do it. I'd say get the KKM for an extra $69.

theres nothing better than a hard fit Barsto barrel.
Hard fit kkm after that.

If youre going to get an aftermarket barrel, why not get the best accuracy improvement possible?

Yes, an experienced gunsmith probably needs to fit it.

Hey Mike, what exactly does fitting a barrel involve? Do they build it with oversized parts that you can cut down so that it fits the slide more precisely than a drop in? I know it's something along those lines, but never really understood. Just curious.

I want to get a 40 barrel for my g32, I am hearing that the KKM is the way to go? Also, is there a place or person to get that barrel in Tulsa area or is the online order the only option?

Thanks

Great now I need to order 5 Barsto barrels and yougot some work to do.

B)

I've got two KKM 40 drop in barrels and they run fine. If I ever get another barrel I'd get Mike to fit a barsto. I can't seen where more acurracy would ever be a bad thing.

I have no valid opinion on after-market barrels, but my brother and I reload, and have shot approx. 2500 rounds of lead bullets through stock Glock barrels. All rounds went where they were supposed to, and he has never cleaned his barrel. You can see some surface leading, but it hasn't affected function or shot placement yet.

All right, it's been over a year...
Is it still Barsto and KKM hard fit barrels over Lone Wolf and Storm Lake drop-in barrels?
I looking to replace the barrel in my G34.
