Here's my brother shooting it. I'll try to get some better video and with it on my NC22 upper. It's actually quieter in person. I was surprised how quiet it is. These were federal .22lr bulk pack from Walmart.

Wormy,

If you're going to shoot suppressed ammo through the NC-22, take a box of each with you so you can find out which ones will work your gun. On mine, the CCI 1050fps sub-sonics are the best, the Federals and the Winchesters aren't 100% reliable. We shot more than 600 through it last Sunday at Heartland and the single failure was ammo related. They were also so quiet that we had to change the stage around and shoot the rifle first - the timer wouldn't pick up the rounds, even held fairly close to the can.

The sub-sonics are more expensive (about .09 each) and I only shoot them when I need the quiet. Otherwise, I shoot standard velocity ammo through the rifle.

I shot some federal bulk pack through the NC22 and can today. I could hear the sonic 'crack'. Definitely going to try some sub sonics. Ordered 3 different kinds from CTD. They are only about .06 each, about twice as much as the federal bulk pack. Thought I'd try em out. The pistol is just so stupid quiet, I want to try to get the rifle to be that quiet. I didn't order the Aguila 60 grains as I heard they may have trouble stabilizing.

My favorite .22 ammo to shoot through a can is standard velocity or target ammo. CCI Green Tag has always done very well for me.

I can't get my subs to work with my NC-22 anymore. I'm going to order a new recoil spring and start trimming the one I have one coil at a time to see if I can get it to work. Standard velocity works well but I hate that sonic crack.
