Had the occasion to compare three powders recently in a heavy barreled AR using 68 gr Hornady match bullets at 300 yards on a reasonably calm day
The winner by far was 24.3 grains of AA2520 with Re 15 and TAC left in the dust.
3 five shot groups averaged 3" and all stringing was horizontal in appreciation of the varying wind from 4 o'clock.
A good powder to try with heavier bullets if you got some and ain't got and can't find your favorite.
Interestingly, the Sierra manual with loads data developed in an AR with 20" barrel shows the highest velocity of powders tested with 2520 and the 69 gr. matchking.
