Just thought I'd share my happy weekend day with my fellow gun nuts. Finished my reloading desk today.
Also got the old Pietta 1858 Remington cap & ball out and took it to the range. I forgot how fun that thing is to shoot. Did well with it for not firing it in roughly 8 or 9 years. Can't wait to find another excuse to sling lead. Hehe.

Thanks guys! My dad got the Lee kit for me for christmas a year or two ago. Finally got time and money to build the desk and get it set up. Of course now that I finally set it up, finding powder and primers are like trying to find good things about our president. It's nearly impossible!

I dig your bench, it matches your floor. You need some BLUE in there now. Bullets are easy, powder and primers should get better soon.

Yeah bullets aren't bad at all. Went to bass pro on a whim and scored some cci small pistol primers and some win 296, so at least I can load my 7.62x25 stuff.

Mike, not always, but the girlfriend picked up some nice port. I celebrated finishing it with a glass, haha.

Mitch, nailed it.

Looks like you went plinking out at Harry's place! I hope you put your cash in the Honor Box!! Hahaha

Haha I did shoot out there. He's always been there to take my money in person. I just like shooting outdoors better when I can. Particularly with my 1858 belching butt stank black powder smoke everywhere. Hahaha

Lol. I gave my dad a hard time about his being covered in crap when I asked him to text me a photo of it when I was building mine. His reply was "that's what happens when you build a flat surface to set stuff on."

I'm already contemplating drawers and shelving for the underside of it. Haha.

Also have a hundred cases of my 7.62x25 ready to be charged and bulletted. Calculating costs per round makes it even more fun! Finding it hard to locate the 90gr. .308 cal bullets for it in stock. Though, I did find a few places online that were somewhat reasonable.

Lol. Dogs are nice. I kept waiting for him to try to eat the tube for the spent primers, but he never did.

Just got all of my components ordered and added everything up. Reloads for my cz52 and my gp100 will run roughly 14 cents a round. Now I'm even more excited I got my desk finished. I have a feeling I'm on a slippery slope to learning how to cast now, too.
