Its actually produced - its a Swiss company - Looks like they took one out of CZ's page and have the slide fit inside the frame vs over.
Yeah I definitely see the CZ in it. Purely physical for me, but I like it better than a CZ.

That's a sweet gun. Is it a SHOT Show special or is it actually in production?

The Sphinx 3000 has been in production since 2003. Its a CZ75 based design built with proverbial Swiss precision.
Not common or easily available in the US...they are now the IPSC Production gun of choice in Europe. The CZ was dominant but some IPSC rule changes brought the Sphinx back into play for those that can afford it. The whole thing is made of machined bar stock. Very cool, I'd love to have one, even if it does have ugly finger grooves.
BTW, the 'Limited' version of that gun uses STI 2011 mags.
There was a great article on the Sphinx in Front Sight a few issues ago.

Now about that SIG 210, I just dont get it. The Sig guys are insanely happy that they've brought it back.
I'm sure its super nice, like most Sigs, but geez.

No, that's the fugly size.

The Kimber Solo Carry has my interest, along with a few other items. Don't feel like looking through all the pictures of SHOT show reports again, and can't access the post I made with all my favorites in it. Something about "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at xyz.com".

Arg.

The M&P22 and RMR-30 both also seem very interesting.

These were also reportedly on display but not for sale. Really don't seem that practical. Plus I am sure they are high maintenance anyway.

Yeah they sure are nice to look at though lol. How much are they to rent and let someone else worry about the maintenance?
