9mm auto anyone?

I have a couple of glocks and my wife has a Kahr CW9 (single stack) and neither have feeding problems. I believe the taper is for more reliable extraction? So you might be trading a possible feeding issue for a possible extraction issue?

This same article pops up every few years when theres nothing else to write about.

Its a solution in search of a problem.
I thought the same thing. I actually saw this article earlier today, debated asking about it on here, then thought about it. I have shot probably 3000-4000 rounds through my Springfield xdm 9mm and the ONLY time I had an issue was ONE failure to fire that was probably a bad primer. The rest of the time it has ran flawlessly, no matter what ammo I fed it. I'll stick to what is working. Unless 9mm auto is readily available and cheap! Which I doubt!

Sounds like a 17rd Glock mag with a +5 extension would be an epic fail.
To bad they didn't compare a "straight walled" 7.62x39 with the milsurp version.
At the end of the day it is all about marketing after all everyone knows what a hula hoop is.

The 9mm Luger has worked fine for many years.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it :sarcastichand:

Just my 2 bits worth :onthequiet:

If you shoot a 9mm 1911 single stack, and you have delt with this nosediving issue...... You start to think there is some merit to this........but I agree, when it gets cheaper than 9mm Luger I will try it!!!!!!!
