9mm: 115 gr vs. 124 gr

other than being able to reach Major PF, are there any significant advantages of 124 gr bullet over the 115 gr?

I've found the 124 knocks down steel easier and has less snap in recoil.

some pistols will shoot tighter groups with a particular bullet weight, in my experience.
Could be same model pistol & 1 prefers 115gr, another 124/5 gr., yet another 147 gr.
Have to shoot the different weights to see which your firearm prefers.

^^^same as above^^^ I mostly stay with the 147 for the closer in and sorter barrel and 124 for the farther and longer barrel. But that really no big deal. Either or. Whatever is available and most cost efficient. There I go taking in circles again.
