870 furniture

seems like i remember someone wanting some wood furniture for n 870 but thats all i remember and i cant find the post.

we were out today and passed a store id never seen before, one of those GUNS, GOLD stores. i dropped off grace and went back.

not a big store but they had an 870 stock and foregrip for sale. its not your newer type bland wood, it the older kind with the shiny coating over the wood.

they have a name for it. i think it would be a steal at $68. i saw a tiny nick on the foregrip and didnt see the other side but it looked good to me.

i can get some info if someone were interested. wish id had my camera.

It's too bad, because the stock I got (brand new take-off) would not hold duracoat. I prepped it with scotchbrite and lacquer thinner and when I removed my camo stencil it removed my base coat from the stock.....now I'm in a pickle for sure. I had to fix his old stock and use it, and now the camo pattern doesn't match. Not a huge deal but it drives me crazy.
