Nicely done. Do you shoot it much? I probably wouldn't.

Not so sure about the 80% size part though. Maybe "Officer Frame" might be more correct.

Browning makes an 85% 1911 in .380acp and .22lr

Nice guns! I do shoot my defender quite a bit. For a short barrel it's pretty accurate.

Cool little blaster.
When you say "80%" do you mean you got an incomplete frame and finished it yourself or are you merely referring to the size of the frame?

I bought an 80% frame and finished it. Bought the parts, sent out for gold plating and cerakote, assembled. Its really nice, smooth trigger and accurate as any short barrel pistol. Next thinking polished stainless. Dream big!

Sorry, they are just some pic off the internet, just to show the size ifference. My 3" 1911 came from Armscor, then went through a transformation at a gunsmiths shop to become the used 1911 I now own. Barrel, sights, recoil assembly, palm safety, were replaced, a trigger job done. I can't seem to find a picture at present. Its not that pretty but it is a trouble free auto loader.
