Anyone heard of this 5k run and gun by alexaems South of the metro? It keeps showing up on my Facebook page...

Haven't done the run n gun, but the couple of 3 gun matches they had awhile back were poorly put together, and safety didn't seem like it was even on the horizon.

I've heard about it. Guys that shoot regular 3-gun said it was run very loosely because the guys that run it don't do other competitive shooting disciplines. Do they don't know what they don't know.
I haven't heard much positive about the Alex Run 'n Gun events.
The Pawnee Run 'n Gun is an awesome event. They do 2 a year, January and July.

Thanks for the heads up. i will not be participating in any shenanigans lol. ill look into the pawnee one... see how it looks

I have done 3 pawnee Run n gun's. 2 in winter and 1 in summer.
Every one of them was absolutely phenomenally organized and safe. Organizers and RO's know their elephant dung and are very friendly.
My recommendation:
1) If u run in summer, bring AT-LEAST 2 Liters H20. Winter you may be able to get by with 1L.
2) Practice running the full or 3/4 of full distance with all your gear on.
3) make sure you know your DOPE out to 500 and through a VTAC board

I'd like to find a 3 Gun that involves a lot more physical activity. Not just running or walking long distances but traversing obstacles, moving litters or objects, and other props. Is there anything like that out there?
