i make kydex holsters for friends and family. gotten pretty good at it. might be able to just lend you one for free until your xds gets back? or could sell you one for cheap i enjoy making them.
No is it just a normal 5" 1911? I have a few 1911's so I could make one off one of those. I've been thinking about making some iwb holsters crossbreed style with leather backing. I've made plenty of iwb all kydex style. I only have black sheets of kydex right now but if you wanted something different just go to knifekits.com and look at all the colors and I'll order it. there is tons of colors and mounting hardware options just pm me what you are thinking and I'll tell you how much it would be. I won't charge much sense I'm not doing it now for money. Just helping people out.

I would think J-hooks. I don't get to carry 24/7 b/c of my job, so just something that can be work semi-comfortably for a couple of hours works. I've never found an IWB holster that I couldn't wear.
