4th Annual 4R Rifle Club Team Hunting Challenge

My first was a .30-30 with some crappy scope on it, A year or two ago I bought my first bolty in .30-06 - but have been limited to 100 yards at Lexington. With a good spotter I could hit anything I can make out with my optics. I'd love to start at 300 and work up to 1,000 but I don't have the optics for it - I think my max would be 600 or so.

minimum calibers?
weight limits?
scoring, knockdown or just hit?
classes?
website?
rules?
glass size limits?

I'm interested but need more info!!

Rules are in the flyer. No min caliber but keep in mind you have to be able to see a hit to score it. I hope no targets get knocked down. Targets are half inch steel plate hanging from fire hose. Highly reactive. If u can carry it, u can shoot it. No limits on glass.

do both team members need a rifle? or is one the shooter and the other a spotter?
if only one shooter, can a team sign up twice and swap duties so both can shoot?
Do both walk prize table as a team and pick 2 prizes or is it shared?

You both will shoot every station. I suppose you could use one rifle but that's alot of rounds down one rifle in a short period of time. Prizes are in pairs. You will walk up to the prize table together but need to agree on what to p/u. I make where you have to take the same thing to keep it even. Otherwise things get all out of whack.

Apparently I'm not smart enough to edit my first post so I'll just make another.

Here is an updated flyer. I was able to get some remote targets so we are throwing out the mil stage. Target will pop up in a random order and competitors will have 20-30 sec to range and score the targets. Should be fun!!
