.458 socom

anybody have a .458 socom? i was about to get a .450 bushmaster or .50 beowulf but im really leaning towards a .458 socom for the mags, shoulder spacing, and bullet availability for reloading.... anybody got any thoughts, looks like its RRA, wilson combat, or teppo jutso...

I know where 3 uppers are for sale locally.

I've had one for six years. It's the only big bore AR (.45+) that shoots rifle projectiles.

Components are a game to find, but it's to a of fun and my favorite gun to reload for!

i usually see the brass in stock at midway and it shoots 45/70 bullets (.458) so they cant be hard to find right?

Brass is the hardest thing to find, gotta grab it when you see it. Bullets are here and there, I shoot the 300gr the most.

I load with Hodgdon Lil Gun, and it's hard to find right now.

One of these days I'll have mine together...... seems bullets and powder are harder to find than I thought they would be and if you get a chance to buy brass get it PDQ or it'll be gone. It's not a plinking round but if ya ever run across a run away Chevy pretty sure it will stop it
