I know only a little about 9mm ARs. There are different combinations of bolt carriers and hammers that are being used. Some bolt carriers are ramp to prevent damage to the trigger group in blowback operation. From memory, there are different angles and depths that are used in the Colt, CMMG, and JP bolt carriers. I believe the SD3G sear latch point is causing you issues. It might work with a SSA. I would suggest contacting Geissele for guidance. I'm running a SD3G in my MPX, but it is gas operated. I haven't thought to look at the carrier.
