300 yard matches

The Ponca City Oklahoma Range is geting ready to put in a 300 yd range. We think we have finally found a dirt contractor that isn't tied up in oil field work.

What type of 300 yard rifle competitions are there out there?

We don't have any experience at this, and are looking to expand our match opportunities for shooters.

Long range 22 matches, sorta like a sniper comp but with 22LR, I've been kicking the idea around in my head but since the 22LR Wolf Match can't hardly be found I've not got to do any playing around to see what might work or not. Later,

Thanks Dustin! I'm still looking from time to time to find some at a decent price.

I've got some ideas floating around in my melon about how to do this but like most everyone I'm pretty busy. I'm thinking it would be awesome fun just haven't got the targets cut out for the unknown distances hehe
