300 blackout

just fired the first 2 rds of my suppressed 300.

my wife bought my 8.5 inch bbl for Christmas and Saturday i saw Jason at UAG for a YHM QD mount, pistol gas tube, bullets and a gas block.

he had sent the blocks to the gun show in Columbia. he brought one back for me to get today and even gave me a discount for having to make 2 trips.

id show you a pic but it just looks like an AR ( my SBR ), free float tube with a can sticking out 5 inches. with the can the bbl length is 16.5 inches.

Shooting a suppressed short barreled .300 BLK upper (that's a lot of adjectives) is the most fun I've had shooting ARs.

Did you get an adjustable gas block?

no, i didnt.

i imagine it would cost 3 times what mine did and i just wish for that stuff.

i dont have sights yet, hince only 2 shots, but id like to get something better than the cheap red tascos i have on all the other uppers.

something to magnify at least 3 or 4 times.

the ammo i got is 220 grain. im going for quiet, but they will need reloading to get a little more.

id say they were a good bit more quiet than a 556 in my suppressor.
