I have a brand new, never mounted SS E. R. Shaw 16.5" 300 Blackout barrel in Varmint Contour for sale. $180 Local FTF or mailed TYD.
The muzzle is threaded for a 5/8x24 mount.
This replaces the factory barrel on a .223 caliber BOLT ACTION Savage/Stevens firearm (model 10 or Axis or equivalent Stevens 200)
It can be installed on other bolt action calibers, but bolt head and magazine modifications will likely be needed and make the process more complicated.
I have the tools required for the installation (Barrel and Action Wrench, Go/No Go gauges) and can provide some advice, as well as point you in the right direction for any of the finer details.
It makes a neat little rifle on a youth stock, supersonic energy levels are roughly equivalent to a 30-30 with low recoil and the ability to shoot subsonic 220-240 grain bullets.(Through a suppressor if you are so inclined)
if you want to lighten it up, the barrel could be turned down to take off a few extra ounces and make a very nice truck/4-wheeler companion rifle.
Overall the 300 Blackout is a versatile, fun and economical (low powder weights, very efficient cartridge).
