Sharps Borchardt military rifle. Falling block. Made from 1879-1881. Bore is fair with some pitting and strong rifling. Has "Old Reliable" stamped on barrel. Trigger isn't setting. Has small SR inlaid in stock in what appears to be gold. No cleaning rod. Rare rifle. Blue book of guns has the Sharps Borchardt rifle listed for $4,000 in 10% condition. I believe this particular rifle to be much more than 10%. Asking $1500 obo.
