Alright dudes...

I'm happy with this rifle with the exception of two things:

- Trigger
- Muzzle device

Looking for a new comp and considering the SJC Titan or Rolling Thunder. What's the difference here? Any other options I should be considering? Also need a good single stage trigger. I'll pay for quality here...I'm relatively handy with tools regarding the install, but if I need fixtures/stones and whatnot count me out.

Also, what are those flippy things I see on the magnification rings and where can I get one? She wears a Weaver Classic Extreme 1.5-4.5x.

I thought this rifle was heavy until I handled Brandons....LOL.

I got a Titan simply because the Rolling Thunder only came in stainless. Looks like you'd be in the same boat. I'm 100% satisfied with mine.

The JP is pretty much the standard for single stage triggers. It's pretty hard to beat.

You're looking for a cat tail...not sure who makes 'em.

hate to be a tease, but I should have my titanium comp next week sometime.

But will you have one for me? >:( I'll help you test it.

Is this the one you showed me the drawings of a few months ago?
How much do you think you'll be asking for them?

Think I got my %$#* squared away today. Got lots of trigger time with the JP and it is freaking outstanding!

Discovered my $160 DPMS Panther MK12 barrel will consistently shoot a five shot group of 69 gr. Wolf inside 2 MOA at 300 yards. It might even be more accurate -- the milspec trigger wasn't doing me any favors. MUCH better than I expected. Also shoots way flatter than I thought it would. With my 300 yard zero, I'm only about 2 inches high at 100 yards. Holding just a hair above the top of the shoulder of an IPSC target is an A-zone hit.

Took some Federal Gold Medal Match out, but didn't even shoot any of it. Once I get my hands on a comp I'll re-confirm my 25 yd. zero and see if there's any POI shift with the 69 gr. Federal. I'm ordering a comp and a trigger TONIGHT. ;)

Had some quality handgun and Benelli time as well. BIG fun. Totally stoked for the Old Fort 3-Gun.

Got a JP single stage and JT's old Rolling Thunder...good enough for now!! Can't wait for Sunday.

Looks good. Do you know what it weighs? Without the mags

I don't know...too much. I'll go with a PRI handguard and have the barrel turned down after the AR sectional multigun next weekend. It's not bad by any means, but I've felt the JP! ;)
