Well fellas and Wall,

It looks like you all got screwed! I am running the 3 gun match next Sunday the 15th. Since its getting hot already I am gonna do sign in at 8:30. Shooting starting at 9:00 or A's close to that A's we can get. Plan on 4 stages although we may do 5. There will definately be at least one big shotgun stage with 30+ rounds of shot required. Plan on shooting a lot of small 4.5" steel with your pistol and/or shotguns. If there is anything you want to shoot I'm open to ideas.

Cost will be $10 for members and $15 for everyone else.

Round count will be 75/75/75. No slugs or buckshot.

I am planning to use the old IMH rules for scoring. 2 on paper or 2 A/B neutralizes in order to speed things up.

How about a couple paintball guns at the end of the range with a string pull trigger set up taking pop shots at us???

JT, I'd really like to help you out with this one but I'm out of town next weekend. Sorry buddy :( .

But, if you want to take my shotgun & shell caddies for loaners, you're welcome to them. :great:

Jesse, I hope you mean IMG instead of international metallic handgun rules, which would also be fun, but probably would not be 9mm or .40 conducive! :)

I have no doubt this will be a challenging and well run match. Thanks for stepping up Jesse. Who knows, I may be able to retire to spring only match director! ;)

Guess I need to buy some more 1911 mags. I can loan my guns to those in need, too, but I only have one each. I may be able to get some newbies in on this myself, actually.

Is this one of the matches that we can shoot heavy metal? 45, 12ga, 308? If so how many 308 clips will I need? All I got is two ten rounders

I had great fun at the last one, I'm bowing out on this one - need to focus on the pistol more - hoping for a rifle match soon too. I'm sure Jesse has some wild stages in the works.

I also got some 30 round clips for my 223 are they to big, and how many should I take, and do I need mag holders for the ar clips and shot gun shells

Some I mean I bunch of clay flippers with the shotgun please!
Great idea! I'll load up my poppers/flippers for the big shotgun stage for sure.

30 round AR mags are the norm. I use 30's, 40's, and a 48 rounder on occasion.

It's helpful to have an AR mag pouch for a backup mag or an empty gun start. Shotshell caddies are almost mandatory in order to load your shotgun somewhat fast. Dont sweat it if you don't have any yet. I will have my extra 6 round caddies with me that anyone is welcome to borrow. If you want to get yourself a set we are order some this week. Check out the group buy forum.

I'm going to come out and check things out, meet a few of you fella's I've been chatting with on the board and just see how things turn out. The knee is not going to let me play just yet and as much as I just spent on it I'd rather not have a redo

I have a bad feeling after Sunday I'll have another not cheap hobby to add to my list. Watch for the guy that looks like he has not a clue as to what's going on and come say hi more than likely that'll be me LOL Later,

Kirk

I'll be wearing skulls and a Boomer Shooter hat. I'll also be on-call again, but I didn't get paged last time, so hopefully it will hold out again this time.

You'll have to be more specific. There will be a lot of people meeting that description.
