I'm addicted to kicking ass
Hey guys I wanted to throw this on here first before I go elsewhere looking for help. 3 Gun Nation needs able bodies to help setup and tear down as well as RO's for the match. Here is the information they sent me in regards to compensation.
Wednesday - May 15th - Set Up - 6-8 guys - $100 Set up
Saturday May 18th - RO's - 12 guys - $150 RO
Sunday May 19th - Tear Down - 4-6 guys - $75 Tear down
Please keep this amongst the group as I don't think its public info.
They setup 6 stages out of their mobile match trailer. They bring all of the tables, banners, targets, steel, walls, etc as far as I know. They may use some of the range barrels and fault lines. Its pretty similar to setting up a USPSA pistol match. They only use knock down steel plates so there aren' t a bunch of massive poppers to haul around. For the RO's scoring is pretty simple. Time plus penalties. Rules set is a few pages so you can get schooled up fast if your not a 3 Gun guy. Remember these guys are pro shooters so there aren't a bunch of scary newbie shooters to worry about QD'ing. Last year I think only one guy got the DQ for a 180 violation. These stages are fast and have had lots of running in the past. We have shot in multiple bays running between the two on the clock. I anticipate running the length of the 50 yard bays at USSA a bunch.
Let me know if your interested and I'll pass your name along to 3GN.
I assume that the June match will be run similarly as well.
